Manchester

We went to fly kites in a park in Manchester this weekend. Strong wind on site surrounded by trees - a struggle to get anything off the floor but as soon as anything emerged above the tree-top it was buffeted mercilessley. No pictures of the kites - it was just too much work. We didn't even manage to see a glimpse of the main event just 100 yards away.

Exhausted and sore, we explored the Peak district on the way back.
