Berck 2009

Perfect weather gave us one of the biggest and best Berck festivals to date.

On the way out, we picked up a couple of charity hitchhikers heading to Croatia. We all enjoyed a massage on the ferry.

Tiger

The Tiger was new to the Al-Farsi collection for this event. When we opened the box, we found the remains of a zebra... There was sometimes a queue of people waiting to take their photo by it.

We flew three bears, including the Blue Peter bear.

Other stuff that caught our eye on the beach...

There were a couple of new Manta Rays on the beach, both from Peter Lynn and our German Neighbours.

Andrew's competition theme this month is "Street Life"

We tried the small prototype for the Al-Farsi lifting kite. It dragged a couple of concrete blocks by about three meters in a couple of seconds during launch.

There was a new baby at the hotel, needing it's picture taken.

The Puppeteers used our Manta to help with their display.

Edris bought a Hedgehog from Rolf

On the Thursday, we took a trip to Paris.

On Friday evening, was the banquet. Abdulrahman seen here discussing sponsorship of next year's championship with Gerrars and the Mayor. David Gomberg was honoured by the town but complained that though there are many fine resturants, it is difficult to find a decent cheeseburger. They presented him with a special one on Sunday.

Andrew went go-kart racing, taking first place after everyone else abstained.
