First day with Lion

I left it 24 hours before trying to install Lion so that I could read some of the feedback before taking the plunge. It took about as long to install as it did to download. At first, it was rather slow but it turns out that it starts off by re-indexing everything on the disk because spotlight has changed.

First impressions are good. The screen wipe thing is handy when you have the laptop alone with no external screen.

But by the end of the day, I had broken it:

Sigh. All I did was press eject on a Windows share over a VPN.
