Kirkcudbright

I am in discussions with the good people of Kirkcudbright (pronounced something like "Ker-coo-brey") about putting on some sort of kite event next year, so I stuffed the little Fiesta with as many kites as would fit and went down so that they could see the kites and I could see the site. It was a last-minute idea, so they picked a field next to their country show, sent the cows down to the far end, put up an electric fence to keep them there and provided me with an anchor vehicle.

It turned out to be a very pleasant afternoon's flying in the country sunshine. Somehow I managed to avoid standing in any wet and steamy cow-pats.
